Jut Wynne is passionate about sharing the importance of scientific exploration and discovery with the general public and children of all ages. One of his goals as a scientist is to convey his knowledge in a way that is both entertaining and informative. 

Jut has given 20 university/agency seminars (16 invited), and 51 public presentations (30 invited) at venues across the U.S., and in England, Spain, Chile, China, Greece, Japan, and Polynesia (including 14 in Spanish). He was an invited speaker at the 2014 Chicago Ideas Week, keynote speaker of the 2014 Flagstaff STEM City Awards Celebration, guest speaker at the 2013 Writers and Illustrators of the Future Awards in Los Angeles, CA, an invited speaker at the 2011 National Association of Science Writers conference in Flagstaff, Arizona and was selected for the Explorers Club flag return (a coveted honor among Explorers Club members) as part of the 2009 Explorers Club Annual Dinner in New York, NY.  

He is a motivational speaker and gives vivid image driven presentations on a variety of topics including: 

  1. The natural history of Easter Island and greater Polynesia; 
  2. China's cave ecosystems and the threats of rapid industrialization on native ecosystems;
  3. Atacama Desert caves and the search for life on Mars; 
  4. The fascinating subterranean world: bats, bugs, and much, much more; and,
  5. Multicultural team leadership and expedition planning.
